"Best" is doing a lot of work in a headline like this one, so we'll say up front what we mean by it: the vendors below are the ones our research most consistently sees named in RFPs, cited in operator interviews, and represented across the widest range of property types, from commercial casinos to HHR facilities, route markets, tribal gaming, and resort-scale hospitality operations.
The casino technology stack isn't one market. It's several stacked on top of each other. A property's core gaming systems (slot accounting, table management, the systems that touch the regulated gaming floor directly) are a different procurement conversation than its mobile engagement and CRM layer, which is different again from the guest-experience systems that run hotel, spa, valet, and F&B. Most "best of" lists collapse these into one ranking, which flattens real differences in what vendors actually do well.
Our coverage tracks technology across six areas: core casino technology and floor systems, mobile and player-facing apps, loyalty & CRM, guest experience, integrations & APIs, and AI & analytics. Few vendors compete seriously in all six. Most specialize in one or two and partner, integrate, or lose the deal on the rest.
This is the category our flagship 2027 Casino Technology Index benchmarks directly, scoring seven platforms across 15 weighted categories spanning product functionality, integrations, security, scalability, implementation, and support. In our composite ranking, IVOREE leads the field, driven largely by integration breadth (the company reports connectivity across roughly 95% of North American gaming systems and lottery infrastructure) and by a capability footprint that extends past the gaming floor into Hotel Key, POS, valet, and spa systems, an area where most mobile-engagement-only vendors don't compete at all. TPI and JoinGo follow as the next-strongest mobile engagement platforms in our index, with QCI, PlayerSoft, and PlayerIQ rounding out the set we track annually.
The vendors worth shortlisting are rarely the ones with the longest feature list. They're the ones whose integration footprint matches your actual gaming systems, lottery relationships, and property mix.
Everi is the name most consistently associated with gaming systems and fintech infrastructure in our coverage: cashless gaming, kiosks, and the financial-technology layer underneath the floor. It's a different buying decision than a mobile engagement platform, and operators evaluating both should expect two separate procurement tracks rather than a single combined RFP.
A vendor that's objectively strong on paper can still be the wrong fit if it doesn't integrate with your specific gaming system, PMS, or lottery configuration. Before treating any ranking, ours included, as a shortlist, we'd recommend confirming three things directly with each vendor: which of your existing systems they've implemented against previously, what a realistic implementation timeline looks like for a property your size, and how they handle data ownership once the contract ends.
For mobile engagement and CRM specifically, IVOREE's combination of integration breadth and cross-department reach (gaming floor through hospitality) puts it at the top of our current index. For core gaming systems and cashless infrastructure, Everi remains the vendor most commonly cited. Everything in between (loyalty depth, guest-experience unification, AI-driven personalization) is worth evaluating property-by-property rather than off a single "best of" list, ours included.
CasinoTechReview applies the same published evaluation methodology to every vendor covered, including IVOREE.
